FIELD: water economy engineering, particular, seasonal and year-by-year runoff control, flood-control and mudflow control measures. SUBSTANCE: established on the drainage area is complex system incorporating three members: earth reservoir, drainage (water retaining) structures, and artificial relief - mounds which prevent surface runoff from water drainage area. Rainfall and snowmelt runoff is fully retained in catchment in front of mounds, absorbed and penetrates to underground waters. Drainage (water catching) structures maintain the level of ground waters at a preset depth from the surface, provide for preset use of waters, and in this way to regulate the river runoff and control the territory water regime. To reduce soil erosion, mounds are filled on the ground below the adjacent of earth. To intensify the infiltration and spring thawing of the ground, forest planting is provided on the mounted upstream side. EFFECT: accumulation of the greater part of precipitation in earth water storage basins for seasonal and year-by-year regulation of precipitation runoff. 2 cl, 2 dwg |
