SMALL PLANT FOR THE TREATMENT OF WASTE WATER, ESPECIALLY DOMESTIC WASTE WATER

A small plant for the treatment of waste water, especially domestic waste water, has a mechanical treatment unit and is combined with a ventilated multi-chamber treatment unit providing a subsequent biological treatment for the mechanical pre-treated waste water. The multi-chamber unit has a ventilated intake chamber in which there is a shaft (10) running obliquely to the waste water level (9) in said chamber. To the shaft is fitted a plunger (16) partly immersed in the waste water and there is at least one tubular body (20, 20') running from the bottom to the top of the shaft having a lower intake aperture (26) and an upper discharge aperture (27) arranged coaxially and helically on the shaft, with the upper discharge aperture taken over the upper edge of the intake chamber.
