PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select switching control data of a speed change step by adding the running state of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission for a vehicle, a speed change control device comprises a degree of vehicle load calculating means 2 to determine degree of vehicle load information; a speed change control data selecting means 9 to select optimum speed change control data according to degree of vehicle load information determined by the degree of vehicle load calculating means 2; and a control means 79 to control an automatic transmission for a vehicle by using optimum speed change control data selected by the speed change control data selecting means 9. |
