PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to perform starting assist control, rotation control to improve rotation performance through positively producing differential rotation between right and left wheels, and differential limit control to regulate differential rotation between the right and left wheels. SOLUTION: A coupling device between the right and left wheels of a vehicle comprises a pair of differential gears 8L and 8R having three rotation elements of first, second, and third rotation elements 8a, 8d, and 8b; a pair of drive sources 9L and 9R coupled to the respective first rotation elements 8a and 8a. The second rotation elements 8d and 8d of the two differential gears are coupled to respective right and left wheels 5R and 5L and the third rotation elements 8b and 8b of the two differential gears are intercoupled, and a brake means 14 is provided to constrain rotation of the third rotation element. |
