DETERMINATION OF LACTOFERRIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bi-specific antibody against lactoferrin as a target antigen, a hybrid hybridoma producing the antibody and a measuring method for lactoferrin can concentration utilizing this antibody. SOLUTION: This bi-specific antibody exhibiting antigenic specificity to lactoferrin and peroxidase is produced by selectively culturing the hybridoma obtained by cell-fusion of two kinds of hybridomas which produce anti- lactoferrin antibody and anti-peroxydase antibody. According to ELISA utilizing this bi-specific antibody the concentration of lactoferrin in a sample can be determined simply, rapidly and precisely.
