摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve degrees of an air-fuel ratio control and the like by setting a target valve overlap quantity according to an engine load so that a valve overlap quantity is set to be suitable for emission and fuel in a middle load range, and suitable for output in a high load range, and correcting the target valve overlap quantity according to the deposit adhering quantity. SOLUTION: A reference target valve timing displacement quantity tVTD according to an engine rotational speed NE and an intake air amount GN is calculated. A deposit learning value is taken in this controller, and a water temperature correcting amount Kdp according to the deposit learning value is calculated by referring to a map. Further, water temperature THW is corrected to be decreased on the basis of the Kdp, and also the map is referred on the basis of the corrected water temperature THW so that the tVTD correcting amount OTHW according to the water temperature THW is calculated. The reference target valve timing displacement quantity tVTD is corrected by the OTHW so as to calculate A controlled target valve timing displacement quantity tVTD. After that, when the tVTD is a negative value, the tVTD is set to be 0 so as to feedback-control a VVT mechanism.</p>
