PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and simplify the mechanism of a fixing device where the transparency of a finish image is excellent and the image quality of it is high by making the discharged quantity of releasing oil the discharge equal to or above a specified quantity per a page for an A4 sized OHT sheet. SOLUTION: A pad-like oil coating member 14A is provided with a sponge 14Ab at its inside, and the sponge 14Ab is impregnated with oil, and composite film 14Aa where a porous texture material of about 50μm is impregnated and crosslinked with a material obtained by mixing silicone rubber with the oil so as to surround the sponge 14Ab is provided on a surface brought into contact with a fixing roller. Thus, the sponge 14Ab is impregnated with the silicone oil of a specified viscosity, so that the oil at the inside of the sponge 14Ab oozes out and is supplied to the fixing roller through the composite film 14Aa. The discharged quantity of the releasing oil must be the discharge equal to or above 0.6mg/page for the A4 sized OHT sheet. When it is <0.6mg/page, offsetting is apt to be caused.
