PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a dropping-out of a flexible conductor by providing a pressing part locally in the lateral direction of a slider, and holding the flexible conductor in a position corresponding to a contact pin within the housing where no pressing part is present. SOLUTION: In a connector with slide having a slider 6 having a number of contact pin 2 installed to a resin-made housing 1 and a pressing part 5 capable of being pushed into and pulled out from the housing 1 which presses a flexible conductor 3 inserted into the housing 1, when pushed, to press it into contact with the contact of the contact pin 2, the pressing part 5 is provided locally in the lateral direction of the slider 6, and a holding part for holding the flexible conductor inserted into the housing 1 with the contact of the contact pin 2 is provided in a position corresponding to the contact pin 2 within the housing 1 where the pressing part 5 of the slider 6 is absent. |
