PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input device with focusing with built-in focusing mechanism with which out-of-focusing is hardly generated and the generation of out-of-focus on one side is reduced as well. SOLUTION: At a carriage part 3 to be horizontally moved and scanned, a light source 22, lens barrel 23 incorporating a photographic lens holder 24 and linear CCD 25a are arranged and focusing is performed by driving this photographic lens holder 24 back and forth through a focus driving part 5A by operating a focusing operating part 5B. At the time of no focusing, the focusing operating part 5B is released from the linkage with the focus driving part 5A and locked at that adjusted position. |
