PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color identifying device for a drum water gage capable of instantaneously grasping an installing state at the center by identifying the color of the circular window of the gage without failing to notice even when the water level height of the gage is rapidly varied. SOLUTION: When the color image signal of a facility to be identified photographed by an ITV camera is separated to red, green and blue, A-D converted and input, a color signal luminance calculator 300 obtains the mean luminances of red, green and blue signals in a region previously set by a color identifying region setter 400 and calculates the luminance value for identifying and discriminating. Whether the luminance value is in an identifiable range or not is discriminated by a color identifying and discriminating check unit 500, and a color identifier 600 obtains three spectral stimulus values, nonnalizes them to identify the colors. Whether the color identified by the unit 700 is correct or not is checked. When the color is correct, a result output unit 800 displays the result of the red or green identified by the identifier 600 and a video signal of a scene to be identified or a synthetic video signal on a display unit 900. |
