PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composition for a magnet wherein defects in the conventional composition for a polyamide resin-bonded magnet are eliminated, and moldabilty (melt-flow characteristics) and mechanical strength are excellent. SOLUTION: This composition consists of magnetic powder whose anisotropic magnetic field (HA) is at least 50kOe and polyamide resin. The polyamide resin is the mixture of the following: modified polyamide resin wherein the end group is modified by monocarboxyl group hydrocarbon and the number-average molecular weight is at most 10000, and modified polyamide resin wherein the end group is similarly modified and the number-average molecular weight is at least 30000. The composition for a resin-bonded magnet is heated and molded, and a resin-bonded magnet is obtained. |
