A method for manufacturing color filter of liquid crystal display includes the steps of forming a water soluble photo high polymer chemistry pattern(5') on a transparent substrate(1), catalyzing the water soluble photo high polymer chemistry pattern(5') in heavy metal salt aqueous solution, forming a photo-blocking film which cuts off light between pixels by applying electrolytic nickel for plating the water solubility photo high polymer chemistry pattern(5') which is catalyzed, and repeatedly forming a color layer between the photo-blocking films. Thereby, it is possible to improve contrast and to suppress a leakage of a current.
