The latch of GB 2272725 A, wherein a one-piece catch is pivotally mounted within a housing and biassed by an integral spring into engagement with a keeper when the window or door is closed, the catch being released by manual actuation of an integral button and with the latch adhesively attached to the window or door by means of a plate, is modified in that i) the plate 106 (Figs 9 & 10) is a snap-fit in channels 152 of the housing 104 or ii) the plate and housing are of one-piece construction (Fig 11).
