PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sealed carbon plate for a fuel cell in which gas leak is prevented even when gas pressure is raised during operation, cost is low, and production is easy. SOLUTION: A gas sealed carbon plate is formed by impregnating a low viscosity bismaleimide triazine compound in a gas permeable carbon plate having a bulk density of 1.8, mechanically worked in the specified shape, then baking at low temperature to make a part or the whole gas non-permeable, or by impregnating either one of low viscosity epoxy resin, acrylic resin, and cyanoacrylate in a gas permeable carbon plate having a bulk density of 1.8, mechanically worked in the specified shape, then cured at the normal temperature to make a part or the whole gas non-permeable. |
