PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of power generation by converting solar energy into electric power and to enable a skylight opening to carry out both natural lighting and ventilation. SOLUTION: In an openable skylight device in which a skylight opening 4 formed in a roof surface of a building, for natural lighting and ventilation is opened and closed by a hinge type first window member W1 , a solar battery cell is applied to the outer surface of the first window member W1 so as to allow the first window member W1 to serve as a solar battery panel, and a second window member W2 formed of a transparent glass pane adapted to be stored in a window member receptacle underneath a roofing member 2 is slid and is moved up and down. With this second window member W2 , the skylight opening 4 can be opened and closed below the first window member W1 . |
