PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method of treating a combustion exhaust gas and a fluidized layer incineration plant which eliminates the need for purchasing costly activated charcoal to allow the removal of a trace of harmful substance such as dioxin or mercury very economically. SOLUTION: In a fluidized layer incineration plant for incinerating combustible wastes, a discharge port 4 is provided to extract a fluid medium containing char and incombustibles in the course of a fluidized layer 3 of a fluidized layer incinerator 1, an incombustible separator 10 to separate the incombustibles, chars and the fluid medium withdrawn and a char separator 13 to separate the char from the fluidized medium sequentially. In addition, a dust collector 18 is set in an exhaust gas passage 16 of the fluidized layer incinerator and an introduction port is provided to introduce the char 15 separated into the exhaust gas passage at an inlet part of the dust collector. A dechlorination agent 11 may be introduced into the exhaust gas passage together with the char.
|
