A method for recording a reservation program at a VCR is disclosed. A recording method is set at a reservation recording setting start mode. And then, a month, a day, a start time and an end time is set. Finally, a channel and a recording speed is set. Wherein, the numbers from 1 to 7 are displayed corresponding to a day of the weeks at the setting start mode. And, a day of the weeks is selected according to the user's input key of the numbers. The selected one is set within a week. The month and the day are set by a week unit according to an input key(for example, +key or -key).
