The device is used to remove a nail (2) driven into a base surface (1) and is shaped as a wedge-shaped block (7) with a first wedge surface (8) arranged to be laid against the base. A second wedge surface (9) forms a counterpiece surface for the tool (3). A through cavity (10) extends between the two wedge surfaces and is formed in the wedge-shaped block to accommodate the nail. It enables the block to be moved against the nail as it is withdrawn. By reason of the wedge-shaped block (7) being moved against the nail (2), the muscle force required is reduced. The nail is drawn straight out of the hole but a certain curvature can occur where the hammer or tool rounding is not standardised. |
