FIELD: alcohol industry. SUBSTANCE: method consists in epuration of water-alcohol mixture in epuration column followed by strengthening in alcohol column and further rectification to produce commercial alcohol. Epuration column is supplied with hot water and air in amount 0.1-50 cu.dm per 1 cu.dm of alcohol, and epuration is carried out in presence of basic reagent taken in amount 0.01-3.0 g per 1 cu.dm of alcohol. As basic reagent, potassium, sodium or ammonium hydroxide, carbonate or bicarbonate are used entering them into any part of epuration column, for example, together with column feed or with water fed for hydroselection process. Air is also fed into any part of epuration column. EFFECT: improved process flowsheet. |
