<p>The proposed ink-jet printing method involves focusing bursts of light from a non-coherent radiation source onto liquid printing agent held in capillaries in the printing head to bring about absorption of the light beams by the surface layer of liquid and thereby generate hydrodynamic pulses within the liquid. Each nozzle in the ink-jet printing head has an emitter producing bursts of non-coherent light and provided with a device for focusing the light beams down to an area smaller than the diameter of the capillary.</p> |
