<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the temperature rise of a laminated type battery and to realize a long life and high performance by forming a positive electrode plate or a negative electrode plate of any cell of battery cells into a thin pipe heat pipe type. SOLUTION: Plural battery cells BC are laminated into a battery module BM, the upper ends of positive electrode plates 2 extracted from respective cells BC are mutually area touched into a positive electrode 2A, and the lower ends of negative electrode plates 4 are mutually area touched into a negative electrode 4A. Plural cells BC are contained in an insulating polyester film 6. By forming the plate 2 or the plate 4 of any cell of the cells BC into a thin pipe heat pipe type positive electrode plate or a thin pipe heat pipe type negative electrode plate, heat generated by the module BM is effectively transmitted outward by the plate 2 or/and the plate 4. Thereby, the module BM can be cooled without increasing its size so that a battery having a small size, a large capacity, and a long life can be realized.</p> |
