<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a frame from being dropped even when fetching a moving image of a large size. SOLUTION: A video input device is provided with a camera 101 for inputting an analog video signal, A/D converter 111 for converting the analog video signal inputted from the camera 101 to the digital data of N bits (N is an integer >=1) per picture element, and high-order bit selective output part 115 for selectively outputting respective M bits (M is an integer <= N and >=1) out of the respective N bits of digital data converted by the A/D converter 111 and since the amount of output data can be adjusted to be less even without reducing the image size, transfer time can be shortened as an entire image regardlessly of the limit of data transfer speed even when fetching the moving image of a large size.</p> |
