摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of detecting the line of sight even when a diopter correction lens is attached to a finder optical system and having high line-of-sight detecting accuracy by arranging the diopter correction lens at a position where an illuminating luminous flux is not hindered by the diopter correction lens even in the case the diopter correction lens is mounted on a finder means. SOLUTION: A diopter correction lens unit 43 is provided with the diopter correction lens 51 having such a size that any of the illuminating luminous fluxes 61 of IREDs 13a to 13b for illuminating a naked eye and the illuminating luminous fluxes of IREDs 13C to 13D for illuminating spectacles is not vignetted. Whether or not the unit 43 is attached is detected at the time of performing calibration operation for acquiring individual variation data in the detection of the line of sight, and stored with individual variation correction data. Whether or not the unit 43 is attached is detected even in the case of performing photographing operation for detecting the line of sight, for example, performing the operation of selecting a range-finding point at the position of the line of sight, and the operation of detecting the line of sight is performed based on the individual variation correction data in accordance with each detection.
