摘要 PURPOSE:To simultaneously separate various kinds of anions and cations and to accurately and rapidly separate and analyze various ion species by feeding and joining a 2nd eluate mixture to the down stream side of an anion exchange column. CONSTITUTION:The 1st eluate mixture formed by mixing eluates 1d-1f in a mixer 3b is pumped 4b into a sample injecting device 6. A prescribed volume of the sample is injected into the eluate in the sample injecting device 6 and the eluate is passed to the anion exchange column 7a. The anions in the sample are thereafter separated in the column 7a. On the other hand, the 2nd eluate mixture formed by mixing the eluates 1d-1c in a mixer 3a is pumped 4a into a mixer 3d provided on the down stream side of the column 7a. The 1st eluate mixture from the column 7a and the 2nd eluate mixture from the pump 4a are joined in the mixer 3c and the mixture is fed to a cation exchange column 7b. The cations in the sample are separated in the column 7b and are thereafter sent to a detector 8, by which the anions and the cations are detected. The detected ions are recorded in a recorder 9 by the response signals of the detected ion species.
