PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an electric vehicle by uniforming acceleration or deceleration characteristics relative to the control input of acceleration or braking regardless of load conditions. SOLUTION: A drive motor controller 10 is equipped with a rotating speed sensor 14 for detecting a rotating speed ω of a drive motor 12, load estimating means 16 for calculating a load inertia estimated value J<-> and load torque estimated value T<-> d based on a torque command value T0 * from accelerator and a rotating speed ω detected by a rotating speed sensor 14, and a motor control means 18 for controlling the drive motor 12 based on the load inertia estimated value J<-> , the torque command value T* and the load torque estimated value T<-> d . |
