<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of damage to a tape by making a comparison between a command value given for controlling a motor and a signal from a motor rotating information detecting means prior to loading a cassette reel onto a reel disk. SOLUTION: When a cassette is inserted into a tape loading mechanism, the cassette is temporatrily stopped in its standby position. In this case, a rotation command is issued for reel driving motor drive circuits 2a and 2b by a sequence controller 4, and at the same time, its command revolving speed is also outputted to an abnormality discriminating device 12. On the other hand, actual revolving speed information from revolving speed detectors 14a and 14b respectively is monitored by a revolving speed monitor 10, and is outputted to the abnormality discriminating device 12. Then, abnormality is discriminated by the device 12 in a prescribed revolving speed allowable deviation range K1 at the establishment of ABS(Nx -No )>K1, where ABS is absolute value processing, and K1 is a threshold level for discriminating abnormality.</p> |
