The packaging for fresh mushrooms has two complementary parts, one (8) of large capacity and the other (9) of much smaller capacity. The two edges (10,11) of these parts fit together and close the packaging by inserted projections (15). The two edges have a corrugated surface which provide ventilation openings separated by zones where the edges are brought together and also resist crushing. The projections located opposite each other form lateral ventilation. The bottoms of the parts are also drilled to ensure an air flow favourable to the conservation of the packaged products. Lateral fluting (14) reinforces the rigidity of the packaging.
