PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an air cleaner case of light weight, inexpensive and of superior sound vibration characteristics which generates no releases between surface layers and a core material, and can be recycled by specifying respective polymer compositions and physical properties when the surface layers are formed by a polypropylene resin composition and a core material is composed of an olefin elastomer provided between the surface layers. SOLUTION: Surface layers of an air cleaner case 10 are formed of a polypropylene resin composition obtained by mixing a polypropylene resin in an amount of 40-80wt.% with an inorganic filler such as talc, mica or the like of 20-60wt.%. A plurality of layers of a core material composed of an olefin elastomer are formed between the surface layers, and the wall thickness is set at 3mm or more. The bending elasticity modulus of the polypropylene composition of the surface layers at 23 deg. is 30,000kg/cm<2> or more, and similarly the bending elasticity modulus of the olefin elastomer of the core material is 1000kg/cm<2> or less. The resin of the surface layers is of high rigidity and hard to cause flaws, and as both the above resins are of olefin family, good bonding properties, good recycling properties and superior balance are provided. |
