The box (20) has grippers (152a,152b) protruding downwards from its base for engagement with the ends of upstanding flanges (14a,14b) on the floor (4) of a hollow-section plastic rail (2). The two top sections (8a,8b) of the rail have hooks (12a,12b) at their inner ends for attachment of a cover (not depicted) over the slotted cable ducts (34,35) fitted into the box. Each gripper is stationary with respect to the base of the box and is stretched over the flange so that the box is firmly held by means of inner and outer hooks (158aI, 158bI;158bA). A groove (164b) for e.g. a screwdriver bit is accessible through a slot (168b) in the floor of the box for release of the gripper.
