<p>A greeting card or other card is provided where the backplane (110) of the greeting card is made from a laminate of a relatively rigid expanded polystyrene material having a rebound characteristic. The laminate includes a paperboard layer which is capable of being printed upon. The backplane (110) of the greeting card may be printed with graphics and die-cut such that individual elements (112, 116) may be punched out of the card and assembled into a three-dimensional object such as a toy. For greater interest and value, the three-dimensional toy may be related to the message on the greeting card.</p> |
