The ventilator fits into an opening (1) formed in a flat roof panel and includes a first base panel (7) which fully covers the roof opening. A series of lateral air inlet openings (10) are arranged around the periphery of the ventilator, under the edges of the base panel. An air outlet (9) is located above the base panel, communicating with the interior of the building through an aperture in the base panel. A top panel (8) covers the upper end of the air outlet, such that the outlet flow path is via a series of lateral passages (11) located around the peripheral walls of the outlet under the edges of the top panel. The whole assembly is movably supported by a frame (3) secured to the edge surfaces of the roof opening. |
