A spout comprising a tubular housing (2) with a calibrating portion (8), an end outlet port (3) and a valve (4) that is movable within the tubular housing and includes a tapered calibrating portion (10) and an end portion (14) extending therefrom and having a more sharply tapering cross-section than the calibrating portion (10). The calibrating portion (8) of the tubular housing and the calibrating portion (10) of the calibrating member define a tapering ring-shaped space therebetween for creating a laminar flow. One end of the calibrating portion (10) of the valve is narrower than radius (R) and wider than the radius (r) of the outlet port.
