Laser welding process producing reduced convexity at butt-joint surfaces
摘要

Edges of plates to be laser welded in an I-joint are shaped by laser cutting in which the polarisation of the laser direction and depth is selected appropriately w.r.t. the feed direction of cutting. Pref. only the feed direction of the cutting head is varied, to produce a V shape of the cut edges. Where parts do not have a straight cutting contour, the polarisation is guided corresp. to the feed direction.
