PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner embedded in the ceiling, wherein a driving system for raising and lowering a suction grille is arranged along a path for sucking air so as not to inferfere with the path. SOLUTION: An air conditioner embedded in the ceiling is provided with a decorative panel having an opening opened to a ceiling-plane and supports a suction grille on an underface of the decorative panel in a vertically movable manner. Two areas 190A, 190B, which extend leaving an area 170 necessary for introducing air, are provided in the opening of the decorative panel 7, and a driving system 150 for moving up and down the suction grille is arranged in one area 190A, while an electrical components case 160 is disposed in the other area 190B. |
