PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact blood-corpuscle counting device provided with a safety device for preventing from being injured by the probe for sucking a sample. SOLUTION: A small blood-corpuscle counting device is provided with a blood sampling part 2 provided in its front part, a measuring part 4 provided in its inside, and a probe 3 that is driven by driving means 3a, 3b so as to be immersible in the blood sampling part 2 and also to be movable in the measuring part 4; and the device is constituted in such a way that blood sampling is carried out in the state that the probe 3 projected inside the blood collecting part 2 has been inserted into the sample container 5 in which blood is contained, and the blood collected by the probe 3 is appropriately injected into the necessary part 4 for measurement. The device is also provided with a sensor 6 for detecting the presence of an obstacle in the blood sampling part 2, and a probe projection stopping means for stopping the lowering motion of the probe 3 in the blood sampling part 2 by the obstacle detecting signal 6a of the sensor 6. |
