FIELD: electrical engineering; battery chargers for self-contained power supply systems. SUBSTANCE: charging device has housing accommodating circuit elements, and battery compartment. Device housing is made integral with plug and is fan-like secured on axle in cover provided with slots for plug when battery compartment is open. Connection of plug with housing and integrating of housing and cover into unit by means of axle facilitates operation and maintenance of device. Safety at charging is provided by design of device which prevents driving the plug into mains when battery compartment is open and precludes access into battery compartment when device is connected to mains. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability, cut down preparatory for charging the battery. |
