PURPOSE: To facilitate wiring in a narrow engine room by using a three layered control cable which is formed in such a constitution that the outer tube of the outest layer is fixed to a car body and a transmission and both operating force in the select direction and a shift direction by sliding of an inner tube and a wire are transmitted. CONSTITUTION: In a three layers structured control cable 14 formed in such a constitution that an inner tube 16 is slidably inserted in an outer tube 15 and a wire 17 is slidingly inserted in the inner tube 16, in the case where an operating lever 6 is slid in lateral direction and selecting operation is carried out, a second oscillation arm 7 is oscillated vertically, a bell crank 10 is oscillated around a horizontal shaft 9, and a slide shaft 33 is moved in the fore-and art direction. The inner tube 16 is pulled through a movable bracket 23 so as to operate the select operating member of the transmission. In the case where the operating lever 6 is oscillatably operated in the fore-and art direction, the wire 17 is pulled through a rod 28 so as to operate the shift operating member of the transmission. |
