<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a crosslinked polyester resin high in toughness and excellent in low-temperature fixability, non-offset property, blocking resistance, and printing resistance by copolymerizing (A) an acid component mainly composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, (B) a specific aromatic diol component, (C) diol component containing an aliphatic diol component, (D) a polybasic carboxylic acid component and/or a polyhydric alcohol component, and a specific polycaprolactone in a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION: A non-linear polycondensation product having a glass transition temperature of 40 to 80 deg.C and a softening temperature of 90 to 170 deg.C is obtained from A (e.g. dimethyl terephthalate), B represented by formula I wherein R1 is alkylidene having at least 3 carbon atoms and 2<=m+n<=7 (e.g. polyoxyethylene-(2,0)-2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane), C (e.g. ethylene glycol), D (tribasic or higher basic, e.g. trimellitic acid), and E represented by formula II wherein 70<=p<=500, with, based on the total acid component, B being 120mol% or less, C being 10mol% or more, D being 30mol or less, and E being 0.01 to 0.3mol%.</p> |
