PURPOSE: To provide a safety device of an elevator using a limit switch using this equipment at the time of installing a hydraulic elevator. CONSTITUTION: A limit switch 12 is installed on a first cam 14 provided on a passenger cage 2 and temporarily set second cams 7a, 7b are installed on specified positions of an upper part and a lower part of a guide rail 1 through installation brackets 13a, 13b to install the limit switch 12 so that the temporarily set second cams 7a, 7b are arranged at positions to make contact with this limit switch 12 at the time of installing an elevator in an elevator shaft by elevating the passenger cage 2. Thereafter, a safety device of the elevator is constituted so as to stop the passenger cage 2 as the limit switch 12 makes contact with these temporarily set second cams 7a, 7b. |
