摘要 |
PURPOSE: To form a fluorescent substance layer having high face quality and to heighten uniformity by properly controlling the dissolution of water glass and barium acetate produced in a spill water process. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent substance layer 2 is formed on the inner face of a panel portion 12 of a glass bulb 10 by a precipitation method, and a lacquer intermediate film 4 is formed on the fluorescent substance layer 2 in a state that the fluorescent substance layer 2 is wet by spill water. In the manufacture of this cathode-ray tube, the conductivity of remaining electrolyte in the fluorescent substance layer 2 after moistening the fluorescent substance layer 2 by the spill water is set to 6.0±4.0μS/cm in pure water of 200ml.
