<p>PURPOSE: To provide a tape driving device using an epicyclic gear device high in reliable and capable of realizing a stable tape running by reducing the loss in a tension control part and also to realize the bi-directional tension control with the simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A sub-retainer is provided so that the epicyclic gear is supported at both ends, and simultaneously independent bearing parts are constituted respectively for an inner gear and a retainer gear 25. The brake force is given to a drum gear independent from the epicycle gear device, and tension arms at the supply side and take-up side are detected by one and only detecting means so as to change over both of them by utilizing the tape tension. Further, both ends of an inner tooth rack 40 engaged with an idler gear 36 are made to high teeth, then the mode is exactly transferred.</p> |
