FIELD: automotive industry; internal combustion engines; engine electrical devices. SUBSTANCE: spark plug has metal body, insulator with built-in central electrode and common "ground" side electrode installed with certain gap relative to central electrode. Side electrode has through holes of arbitrary shape located out of spark gap zone. Diameter of circumcircle of holes does not exceed half of width of side electrode. EFFECT: improved stability of engine operation, facilitated starting, provision of complete combustion of fuel mixture, simplified blowing out of spark gap. 5 dwg |
