PURPOSE: To provide an image forming system capable of improving the extendability of a system and user's convenience. CONSTITUTION: When respective parameters for the specification of a copying machine to be used for printing, the specification of sorting, the specification of a sorting number are set up by a host computer 401, a sorter is connected to the specified copying machine, when the sorting number of the sorter is more than the specified sorting number, images are formed by plural copying machines satisfying the specified conditions and sorting is executed by sorters connected to respective copying machines. |
