PURPOSE: To realize the high frequency radio communication equipment with a high call connection efficiency and low power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 10 reads data corresponding to a channel and provides an output of a control signal S10 and it is converted into an analog reference signal S11 by a D/A converter 11. Output power from a power amplifier 1 is detected by a directional coupler 2 and a detection diode 5, from which a detection signal S5 is outputted. The reference signal S11 and the detection signal S5 are compared by an operational amplifier 6, the result is given to the power amplifier 1 via a transistor(TR) 8 based on the comparison result to control output power of the power amplifier 1. The output power is set higher for a prescribed period at the communication with a base station for call connection. That is, data to increase the output power are called from a memory 9 for the prescribed period. The increased output power is given to a transmission reception branching device 3, in which the power is branched from a received radio wave and outputted from the antenna 4 for the communication between the base station and the high frequency radio communication equipment. |
