摘要 PURPOSE: To improve the quality of reproduced signals by making a guide groove uniform in regions all over the surface of a disk and reducing the crosstalk to neighboring tracks due to pre-pits. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with an exposure section 9 which simultaneously exposes the guide groove and the prepit with different laser light and an exposure control section 10 which controls the exposure voltage and exposure timing of the laser light applied by this exposure section. And when the exposure section 9 exposes the guide groove adjacent to the outside or inside of the prepit in response to a predata indication signal, a guide groove exposure voltage at the first power level is supplied to the exposure section 9. The device is annexed with a guide groove exposure voltage supplying section 5 which supplies a guide groove exposure voltage at the second power level when the guide groove not adjacent to this prepit is exposed and a modulation section 6 which modulates the guide groove exposing laser light in response to the guide groove exposure voltage.
