PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical parameteric oscillator which is low in a manufacturing cost and is formable to a smaller size. SOLUTION: This optical parametric oscillator includes an optical parametric oscillator nonliriear material 18, two mirrors 26, 24 which are arranged in both side parts of this nonlinear material 18 and form an optical parametric oscillator cavity and a switch type microlaser (composed of an input mirror 2, active laser medium 6, switching means 8 and output mirror 26) for generating laser beams for pumping the optical parametric oscillator cavity. |
