PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material well balanced among 3 color gradations by specifying the gradations of yellow, magenta, and cyan colors obtained by 2 kinds of developments. CONSTITUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is subjected to the development processings I and II different from each other in color development time so as to allow the obtained gradations of yellow, magenta, and cyan colors to satisfy the following conditional expressions; 0.8<=γII(Y)/γI(Y)<=1.2 0.8<=γII(M)/γI(M)<=1.2 0.8<=γII(C)/γI(C)<=1.2 whereγI(Y) andγII(C) and the like are the yellow and cyan and the like gradations obtained by the development processing I and II. The development processings I and II are carried out for a color developing time of 3min-3min 15sec and at a color developing times of 3min-3min 15sec and 50-70sec, respectively and at a color developing temperature of 37-39 deg.C respectively, by using the color developing solution containing 2-methyl-4-[N-methyl-N-(β-hydroxyethyl)-amino]aniline as a color developing agent in an amount of 15-20mmol/l and 35-40mmol/l, respectively, and a compound for promoting a base from a base precursor.
