PURPOSE: To enable inputting by making voice as instructed at the time of registering a voice pattern in a cordless telephone set. CONSTITUTION: At the time of registering the voice pattern in a slave set 100, the slave set 100 is switched to a registering mode by a control part 8A to indicate a numeral N to urge utterance of voice on a display 2 in an order starting from 0. The operator looks at this and makes the voice of the numeral N to a microphone 4 following the display to register the numeral as the voice pattern. The registering of the voice pattern is finished by executing this operation for all the numerals and codes.
