A plant for monitoring the temperature inside a refrigerated truck, whose engine (2) drives the coolant compressor (5) directly or indirectly, uses a temperature sensor (8) inside the cold compartment (3). The on-board electrics has a transmitter (11) linked to the sensor working with a fixed central microprocessor. When certain thresholds are exceeded, the transmitted is linked by radio. In fact, the compartment has several distributed temperature sensors, one at the output of the cooling aggregate (6) and the others on the floor (1) and roof (14). There is an evaluation unit assigned to the sensors and/or the transmitter. The transmitter in the vehicle is activated by the central microprocessor.
