<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the flight distance of a golf ball hit by a driver or iron and to make the ball easy to stop on the approach by providing it with a two- layer lining structure, the inner lining hard and the outer lining soft. SOLUTION: In a golf ball that comprises a core 1 and lining structure which consists of two layers, a hard inner layer 2 and soft outer layer 3, the inner layer 2 contains a high-rigidity polyamide resin occupying not less than 5% in weight against the total weight of resin. The inner layer 2 is made of a mixture of a polyamide resin and ionomer resin, and the outer layer 3 is made of an ionomer resin with its flexural rigidity falling somewhere in the range of 1000-2500kg/cm<2> .</p> |
